Newest Spybot update won't download.
 

I was trying to update spybot's detections. The search for updates works fine. The new file shows up in the list. But when I click download updates, the program freezes, and I have to bring up the task manager to close it. I uninstalled the program and did a fresh install. Same problem. Thanks for any help.

Spybot 1.2
OS: Win 2k (running as Admin for this task)

I got that problem too before.. Then I changed the server and it worked

I had the same problem yesterday. I tried several times and got the same freezeup as you. I just went off to do other things online and returned to the site last nite and everything worked just fine and the updates loaded and installed just fine. You might have to just catch them at the right moment, maybe when there isn't a lot of traffic to their server.

yep they were down yesterday. it works fine now

For some reason the Mirror site "UNIDO Europe" doesn't work just choose one of the other download sites and it should work fine.

It just happend to me, just restart the program and it works fine.

my only suggestion would be to put your server as a different - I always use the FXClips one and maybe possibly checking your firewall settings...good luck
