Cracking the Tiger Video Now System
Has anyone heard of people cracking the video format of the Video Now player made by Tiger electronics? The package says that it only plays proprietary video disks sold by Tiger, but if a way to encode compatible video is found you could have a portable player for $30 :)
Here's a link to the hardware. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...48035?v=glance The latest Wal-Mart flyer had it for $30. |
nope, but I checked out the system the other weekend..... small tiny screen black and white video.... why bother?

Mainly just because it'd be a cool addition to my collection of "Stuff that makes me cool".
Really though, i've had a couple ideas involving portable video. Namely pr0n, but who hadn't thought of that ;-) |
I saw those little tings at toys-r-us the other day, I don't guess i get it. "80 by 80 pixels and measures 1.7 by 1.3 inches, resulting in quality picture" lol Quality yeah whatever... i agree with Cynthetiq why bother.... just get a portable dvd player saw them as low as $125 alot higher quality, color, non proprietary videos, and longer length videos
plus are we suppost to be talking about cracking anything on here? |
