Spybot - Search And Destroy
 

Maybe its just me but I am starting to lose my faith and confidence in Spybot. I have come to rely more and more on Ad-aware. Spybot rarely updates and I can't remember the last time it found something on my machine. Ad-aware updates much more frequently and everytime I run (almost daily) it finds something. Am I just being paranoid or is anyone else experiencing a decline in the performance of their Spybot? I am curious to know if you are. Thanks

I have held back on downloading a spywear destroying program @home, but have but have errors now occuring on my P.C where is a good one to down load I had considered Spy bot, but if it is failing you is there others apart form spybot blocker.

I've not had any problems with it. Have you updated it recently? Last week I installed the new version, along with an updated profile. I also use the immunize feature which works great. What are you experiencing? What spy crap have you found that SpyBot didn't?

between the immunize feature, and the fact that it has gotten a lot of stuff that has made it past ad-aware, it's a definate keeper for me.
I think that they both get things that the other misses, they seem to work well in concert.
(they seem to update frequently enough to me.)

I like Spybot and Ad-aware both alot. I run one after the other just to make absolute sure nothing gets missed by one.

Good advice there. Just think of it as using both the pill and a condom.
