JavaScript and different browsers
Alright, its time to get some help from the brillant minds of TFP. :)
I'm currently in an Intro to Web course and we're learning JavaScript right now. On our most recent assignment, I thought I was doing it all wrong because my prompts wouldn't load on my page. I use Mozilla as my browser. But when I went to class this morning and tried it out on IE, it worked just fine. Why is it that it works in IE but not Mozilla, and how can I make it work with both? Here's the link to the page I had to make so that you can view the source, which might shed some light on the problem - <A HREF="http://sun.iwu.edu/~jmeyer/assignment6.html">LINK</A> Thanks for the help. :) |
I'm guessing that whatever you were taught is not standards-compliant javascript. Unfortunately, last time I used javascript was before there were even standards for it so I don't know anything to help :p :(
EDIT: It doesn't work on IE in this internet cafe I'm in either. |
bingo *grin* take hte space out of your script declaration!
script language=" javascript" should be script language="javascript" ;) damn typos ;) |
Should there be a space before the word Javascript in your Language declaration?
(d@mnit, seconds late again!) |
sorry red! ;)

No problem, Cheerios, but this was the second thread IN A ROW where I duplicated a post immediately above mine.
