Best overall mod, ever.
The Y-Box. Atari 2600, Nintendo Entertainment System (8-bit), Microsoft Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, Sony PlayStation 2, and a custom PC all in one.

The pictures from the bit tech mod really don't do it justice. The owner went through his designing and fabrication process step by step. It was a long, fun read. He has my vote.

This mod is very interesting, dont see why you would actually want something like this to lug around to LANs, but whatever

That is one hot computer.
One of the coolest mods I've seen was the winner in this month's Maximum PC magazine. Someone made an aquarium mod which had the computer on one side and fish on the other. You can see it here : http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/k/l/klh340/ |

Wow I am so glad you posted that link. What an incredible case mod. I don't see how a person can just envision something like that, put it to paper, then build it.
There's some other great mods on that site too, and a lot of guides to mod your own case. Anyone know of any other sites that have guides on modding, preferably with better pictures and maybe some beginners guides to the electrical systems?

They do it to just about anything they can get their hands on. I've even seen mods for a mouse pad to make it glow and one where they put a touchpad mouse, some usb slots, and a memory card reader all into a keyboard. So many good mods are out there, I can't wait till I can start doing my own
