Accsessing Multiple Registrys?
Hi. I have installed a second copy of XP on the same hard-drive as my origonal. The other copy is fubared. Anyways, I installed the new XP installation to a diffrent directory then the origonal and would like to go back to my previous installed registry to copy out program information. Is it possible to accsess the windows XP registry externally using the other installation? (if that made any sense) Thanks.

You could try this: Windows Registry File Viewer
Tested on Win2k. Don't have XP, but according to the site it works with XP also. |

Thanks, it works, but other then ntuser.dat do you know where registry information is recorded? I can find my old reg. information in (my old username dir)\ntuser.dat but it seems incomplete (some of the entrys im looking to copy are blank or missing) Is it stored anywhere else?
