usenet servers
Can anyone recommend a good quality, high retention and, above all, fast usenet server I can subscribe to. I've used usenet-access before but as I notice a 500MB per day limit I shan't be going back to them anytime soon. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, it is. There are companies that offer unlimited downloads, but they cost a lot more. Granted, if you really download that much, it would come out to be less per GB, but it costs a lot.
I thought 10GB wouldnt be nearly enough for me, but I have yet to use much more than 5GB per month. I think you will end up using less than you think.

Here, check this link out. I used it several times to decide which service to go with.

Yeah. The problem with some ISPs is that many dont have a news server, and many of those that do have horrible retention, horrible completion, dont carry many groups, or are just plain slow. I was running my ISPs until I came to school, which had a crappy news server, so I had to pay for one.

I've been using Giganews. I've had no problems with it. Good retention and fast. And I use Newsbin Pro for downloading. Good stuff
