M$ auto complete in Word - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

When i type various words, M$ word tries to offer me the choice to fill in with an address book entry. this is occasionally useful. But not when i'm doing work on bibilical texts, since i have friends named Matthew, John, Luke, and Mark. Any way to turn this off?

Fwiw-i'm running OSX, with MS Office for OsX.

Are you asking how to turn it off or just commenting on it?

If you want to turn it off...

To turn AutoComplete on or off, point to AutoText on the Insert menu, click AutoText, and then select or clear the Show AutoComplete tip for AutoText and dates check box.
