MS Word 2002 margins?
Hi everybody. I recently re-insalled MS Word 2002 and now I've got a problem that I can't get rid of, and it's driving me insane.
What is this little right-angle in the corner of my page? It appears in all 4 corners of my page, and only in Print Layout view. It's never been there before and now it appears. It doesn't get printed of course. <img src="http://invis.free.anonymizer.com/http://www.geocities.com/rlyss/pics/ms_word.gif"> I think it shows me the margins/borders of the printable area of the page, but I've looked everywhere and I can't find any option to turn them off. I don't know exactly what to call them either so it makes it hard to find what option to turn off. Can anyone help? Thanks all ![]() |

It looks like those are text boundries.
Click on Tools, the Options. On the View tab there is a section called Print and Web layout options. In this section there should be a checkbox that says Text Boundries. Take the check out of this box and click OK. That should do it. |

Thanks hrdwareguy, I think you're close, but it doesn't quite help. Text boundries is already unchecked, and when I check the box it connects the lines up, ie. instead of just having the right angles, it connects the vertical lines to the bottom corners, and the horizontal lines to the others.
