Identifying A Startup Program
I ran my SANDRA utility again for the first time in a long time because someone mentioned it in another post in this forum. One of the tips it gave was that a program (BCMSMMSG.exe) takes up a lot of memory and that I may not want to run. Problem is is that I have no idea what the hell that program is. Is there a website or program which can help me indentify the programs in my startup menu? Much obliged. Thanks

search google for startup list, a few good hits.

What OS are you using??? If you are using Windows XP try doing th following.
Start>Run Type: msconfig Click OK That will give you a list of everything that runs at startup. |
msconfig works for 98SE and ME as well. i dont remember if 98 had it or not.

What is this SANDRA program you speak of? He asks curiously.
