Neat to note that those were all leading staff from nVidia in that shortfilm.

Definitely a good sign that they can make fun of their own products. It shows that not only are they aware of the limitations / weaknesses of their own products, but that they are willing to publicly admit it. It's a good indication that they are going to do things to improve their future products.

There was some internal heat for that video actually. A lot of people who had paid $400 for the cards saw it and called the company furious, thinking nVidia was saying it knew in advance how bad the cards were.

nVidia, wisely, gave them another card (5900, I believe) in compensation.

Two things:

1) It was funny if you have an nVidia card

2) I hope their product development team is better at engineering hardware than writing and shooting a short film!
