DVDSentry
I hadn't noticed this before but my new Dell system came with the program, DVDSentry, installed. I have no idea what it is or what it does but I am not entirely confident that this is a "good" program to have on my machine. Can anyone tell me what this is and I need to have it? Much appreciated. Thanks

Using Google I found this page which says that it is ad-ware prevention software.
Supposedly Dell built this software to prevent certain DVD titles to report viewing data back to the publishers.

Wait, wait, wait............No I am confused. Are you telling me that Dell installed a program which could be considered useful to the user. I, I, I, don't know what to think now.......What's next? "Cats and dogs living together.......mass hysteria!"
