FlashFXP downloading help!
How do I download files off my web servers? I try to drag the files to my desktop and folders on my hard drive but it won't let me. It gives me the white circle with the slash through it. I tried highlighting a file but the transfer option is greyed out. Anyone have any idea?

In the remote view, drag the files into the local side of the program, not onto your desktop.
Some FTP clients allow you to drag files to a physical location on your harddisk, not Flash. Navigate to the directory you want to download to with the local browser. There is an option to toggle from remote to a local view on either side. So on the side of the program that isn't connected to the site, hit the toggle button and it'll show you a local tree view. hope that helps. |

mhm....what i usually do is make some default download dir on my hdd (c:\Downloads for example) and then set FlashFXP's options to use that dir..then from there i can move the files to wherever they go.
and i find that it makes more sense to use the default view, with local on the left and remote on the right (since the ftp commands and such are on the right side). play in the options in general, there's other good things you can do. great prog btw. (one of the few) i've actually paid for.
