invisible stat counters
I was wondering what the consensus here regarding the best free invisible stat counter would be.
I want to have a counter on my website that visitors won't see and that won't invade their privacy (cookie tracking or anything.) Currently I plan on using www.statcounter.com's (If they ever start allowing new users to register.) They seem to be the best that I can find, and I think they meet my privacy needs. Any others out there you would recommend? Thanks c_b

Personally I would prefer making one myself. They're not that hard you know... especially in a server side scripting language like PHP.
Then again... most of the time I'm too lazy and don't really care so I omit a counter.
