Listserv script?
So I'm setting up the website for my university dorm hall, and we need a listserv. Since I bought an assload of space, I'd prefer to run it from my own server. Can anyone refer me to a good free listserv script?

I've heard mailman is excellent, though I've never used it personally.
http://www.list.org/ If you are not running a *nix in this situation, I'd call you crazy, and tell you that you will probably not find free list-serv software. |
I've used Mailman - highly recommended.

I've used, run, & modified Mailman (I wrote per-list SpamAssassin support for Mailman 2.1.1, although I haven't submitted the patch yet). Excellent software. It's written in python so it may well run on Windows, if you're stuck running that for a server...
