yet another kazaa question...
 

aight, i know kazaa has probably been done to death in this section (even though i looked alot and didnt see anything)...

... my problem is i start kazaa, and i can do stuff with it, but if i x it out (and minimize it to the task bar) it wont let me bring it back up. after a while after that, ie will start to freeze, the desktop stops responding a little after that, and on some occasions, even opera has frozen. has anyone had this problem, and fixed it? i would LOVE to know, please, someone anyone.

or i am willing to get another app that does the same things as kazaa, ive tried winMX and it has the same problem though, and do not even HINT at grokster, i got it, and im still battling the fucking spyware!!! with spybot and adaware!

I'm not sure if this will help your problem, but try uninstalling Kazaa and installing KazaaLite K++ at http://www.kazaalite.tk

Kazaalite is pretty much Kazaa without the spyware and popups and stuff. This may not fix your problem, but it can't hurt to try. If for some reason the program is screwing up because of a piece of spyware, this'll fix your problem :)

I definately 100% agree with him. To you and ALL users, definately consider using KazaaLite. It fixes so many problems people have with regular Kazaa, because it takes out all the BS, and adds some very nice features. Such as, it automatically after a time delay, searches for more sources of a file(s) you are downloading, without any interaction from you the user. Hope this helps.

I agree get Kazaa Lite, i can't even explain how much better it is than Kazaa. I hated all the bullshit Kazaa came with and all the troubles i had with it.

Try uninstalling all the previous versions you may have lying around on the hard drive, then reinstall Kazaa. You may be inadvertedly starting up an old version, or having older Kazaa files may cause conflicts with the new ones.

If kazaa still doesn't work there is a program called Ares www.softgap.com This program is adware/spyware free and works pretty much like kazaa. The difference with Ares is it will bypass firewalls from schools.
