I there a way to save a streamed Real file?
I'm watching a game on mlb.tv and would like to save it if there is a way to do it.
Of course, there is no File --> Save option. TIA! |
hmmm....not really. Streaming technology is just that: a stream. I believe Real caches only chunks of the stream on your machine. Does that make sense? Imagine having a document. You are only allowed to read one page of the doc at a time. So the current page is in the cache. When you go to the next page, it will take up the memory in the cache, and the previous data will be deleted.
I don't think there are any hacks for it, but might be worth a google online... |
I have been told of some apps that can record streamed audio... I have wanted to try them but never had the opportunity.
Do some searching on these very boards and I have the exact forum thread somewhere in here... |
there is a program called Stream down, i do believe that allows you to save it, but im NOT positive, do a search for it..

Thanks guys. I wasn't able to do it since I had problems with RealOne (well there's a surprise) and wasn't able to even watch the feed.
