monitor
I dont know if its the monitor or not but the screen is slightly greyed with lines of light grey and dark grey lines acroos the screen. I tried messing with the contrast and all that, but it still is wacked out. Anyone have any suggestions or have ever had this problem?

Have you tried the connections. I have seen purple lines when the conenctions are loose.

I've got that on some vertical lines when they're on a white background. Deaussing doesn't work for me, but letting it "rest" (ie. turn it off for a while) makes it a lil' better. I, basically, am suffering from cheap, crappy monitor syndrome ;)
