Doesn't RH9 come with XMMS?

I'd use XMMS, but you'll need to install MP3 capability seperately because RH doesn't come with it.
If you mean media as in movies, I'm partial to Xine, but I'm told mplayer is pretty good as well.

have to agree with Latch.
MP3s, XMMS hands down for a GUI player Movies: MPlayer. Dont like Xine much, and absolutely love MPlayer
