So, you want the text from the pdf in the email, as plain text?

You cannot do that, even if you have Adobe Acrobat (full version). If there is a way, I have not heard of it, and at least it's not in Acrobat Reader.

The only thing I can think of is that some OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software used for scanners, could read a PDF files.

Try looking for OmniPage Pro etc... there may be some free ones

do a screenshot and insert the pic inside the email?

that would be the ghetto way.

that's the only way... there's no EMBED function for PDF.

it's a DOCUMENT, hence the .3 extension meaning PORTABLE DOCUMENT FORMAT.

Hit the Shift and Print Screen keys simultaneously, open up Paint, click Edit, then Paste.

Shift Print Screen will get you your entire desktop, Alt Print Screen will get you just the current active window.

viveleroi0 09-15-2003 02:37 PM

just Print Screen by itself gets the whole desktop for me... I've never had to use the shoft key.

With the pro version of Acrobat (Don't have Reader installed) you can select all the text with the SELECT TEXT button and copy it to the clipboard - then paste it into your e-mail. Not sure if you can do that in Reader though.

If your recipients can handle it, you could just write a little piece of html and have the email pull up the .pdf off of a website. Of course that would require that every recipient of the email to have html enabled.

make the pdf available to this
http://www.adobe.com/products/acroba...mple_form.html

then cut n paste the generated html into an email msg as rtf or html
