Microsoft X-Box winner email from gift-stakes.com
Anyone else get this shady looking e-mail?
I'm almost 99% sure it's a scam. 1. They only take debit cards (no credit cards, what?) for the shipping costs. 2. The site looks like crap. 3. There secured link takes you to a page with a security certificate issued by a non trusted company. Anyone heard of this company? |
If it is too good to be true, it probably is.

Nothing, that's another odd point ... and it says that "a friend, co-worker, or family member has registered you" ... guess they're pretty sure that I didn't do it myself....
