2K Services
Ok, So I installed 2k on a second hard drive so I could use it for playing games only, as my desktop is primarily linux.
I got playing around with a few of the services, to turn off the ones I'm not using and I've probably messed something up. I'm no longer able to drag and drop icons. Not on the desktop, and not within explorer. My guess is I've disabled some service that's required. On top of that, when I try to reenable them by right clicking on the relevant services and clicking on properties, nothing comes up. Then upon trying to close the services window, I'm greeted with a happy little window informing me to "Close all property pages before closing services" Super. I'm guessing registry is gonna be my way outta this. SO, I guess my question is if anyone knows off the top of their heads which service I should not have disabled. |

Ok, I've turned a bunch back on, and it's working again. I'm pretty sure it's related to either 'Remote Procedure Call (RPC)' or 'Remote Procedure Call (RPC) locator'
That's messed.
