is there any program I can use to resize animated avatars(gif's) without making them stop being animated? Thanks in advance

I use Macromedia Fireworks...great ani gif editor/creator.

If you can't find that program to be suitable, the JASC Paint Shop Pro suite is excellent. It comes with Animation Shop, which is a very, very nice animated anything creator/editor. Fireworks is nice, though, too.
