IE shutdown
OK, I'm not a computer guru, but I think I've got a really weird problem. Everytime I click on the IE icon, my homepage loads up for half a second, then I get an error message and it shuts down IE. The only way i can get on is by going through another icon, like checking the mcafee homepage and then going somewhere else. I am running windows xp home.

It sounds like a javascript on some website you visited changed your home page to something with the IE crash code embedded. Try changing your home page to about:blank when you have ti open and stable.

I think that was the problem that the blaster worm caused maybe go to microsoft and get fix

Thanks for the help, guys. I got the patch and everything from microsoft, and it hardly ever happens now.

If I had a nickel for every time IE froze my computer . . . well - I could buy another computer for it to freeze.
