MIRC resume Download - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

is it possible to resume a download even though the files arnt named the same, (yet its obivous its the same file)

i only have 15mb of a 800mb file left but the no other bot/server/channel has the same renamed file

It should be possible. Try copying the file, then renaming the copy to the name of the other file. Then you should be able to resume it...

Although, I'm not sure this is appropriate, is downloading the Matrix considered "Warezing" by TFP standards? Might want to check with the moderators before referring to things you're downloading by name.

Download whatever you want. Just don't tell us where to find it, how to get it, or what to use to "use" it.

No Warez/Hackz/Serialz on TFP. If you want that stuff, look elsewhere. You will not find it here.

the file size's gotta be exactly the same (to the kb) if you wanna try and resume it.

nope, i tryed renaming it and resuming, and the tar file turned out currupt, thx for the advice guys......
