I just went there today and couldn't find it. I did pick up a PNY FX 5600 though for $99. It was for my girlfriend's computer so she didn't need much.

I went soon after posting. Despite what the website said, the folks at my local store said they'd sold out - after I managed to flag down a "customer service" specialist who was too busy chatting with a co-worker to bother with customers. When I asked about a raincheck, he shrugged and said 'we might be getting more in later this week sometime' and walked away.
Why does this store make it such an ordeal for me to give them my money? I walked out furious and quite willing to pay $20 more for the same item at a competitor's location.

i HATE it when that happens.
i was at circuit city the other day shopping for printers and there wasnt any of the one i wanted on the shelf. so, i asked one of the guys there and he looked around on the shelf and said they were sold out. lazy bastard. i didnt believe him, so i went to one of those counters and asked teh guy to check it with the item id on the computer. ah AH! they had some in the back. i dont think these guys care about selling products at all, since they're getting paid regardless.

Y'all might want to spend a few more bucks for a better hard drive. Check this one out: http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.js...&catoid=-10263
It's a Western Digital Special Edition 160GB for $199. Minus $100 in rebates, that's only $99 for a nice drive. Plus, I heard from a friend that if you go to the stores, some of them are actually 200GB versions! 200GB for a Franklin, geez. Anyway, I'm off to the local CC today.
