how do i know my ip in windows xp?
i remember back in win9x where u had the 'winipcfg' doesnt seem to work. how can i find this? btw, i dont want javascripts that can do this, i want a built in xp program, i know there has to be one! btw, i have cable |
click start, run, type cmd, enter, type ipconfig, enter

start->run type "cmd" then "ipconfig" or "ipconfig /all" for more info

or, go into network connections and right click on your network card and select status. then click on support.

or, if you really like the old look, go to
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000...wntipcfg-o.asp and follow the directions. Really no reason to use this over the built in ipconfig, but it's there if you want it. |
