Seeking Windows app that shows resources on wallpaper
I have noticed in many of the screen caps of people's desktops that the lower right section of the wallpaper displays Windows system resources. The display is transparent and overlays on the existing desktop wallpaper.
I've done my best to search TFP posts to find out the name of this application - no luck. Does anyone know what this is called so I can find get me-self a copy? Thanks!

The program I'm using is Sysmetrix.
The skin I'm using is Ripped Small. It takes a little messing with to get it set up the way you like, but it's worth it to me. There's a ton of different skins for this app at Wincustomize, but this one is the only one I use. |

This brings up a question that I'm sure one of you could help me with. I have Sysmetrix 2.0.3, with all the nifty weatherr doo-dads, but I can never get any info from it. I went to preferences and put in my METAR code, but I keep getting a "Parsing error: Incompatible data format" error. I'm using the default URL to get the readings from, and just not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Any ideas?

Do you have a link for the nifty "weatherer doo-dads" so I can download it and mess with it? I only have about 3 skins installed for the app, and none of them are weather related stuff. I just like the one I'm using too much to get rid of it, but I would like to help out if I can.

well you need the development build of Sysmetrix (2.03) found <a href="http://www.xymantix.com/sysmetrix/development.html">here</a>. Then get a skin that uses the "doo-dads". <a href="http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?wp=3&Sort=&searchtext=&Order=&library=28">This</a> is the one I'm using. Good luck.

I'm using the RippedSmall skin with the weather add-ins. In the text portion of the skin, I removed the Email item and put the temperature in. Works just fine.
I've also used skins with weather specific regions - no problem.
