Booboo

So.. you know how when you normally right click on your desktop and select propteries, if you have a fancy 3d card there are usually extra tabs for it?? where you can change setting ect.

well.. the other day my extra tabs went missing (I just went away from the comp came back and my desktop was gray instead of my normal backround, and the tabs were gone.)

Has anyone else ever had something like this happen? Its not really a big deal.. because games still recognize my card and everything works fine, but its frustrating when I cant change the settings on it.

The card is a Radeon 9800 btw.

did you by any chance uninstall the "ati control panel" or anything like that?

just re-install the drivers and you should be fine.
