Problem.....

Ok, so when I restart my computer everything loads but then I get this pop up window that says..... :C\WINDOWS\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp\PowerReg Scheduler V3.exe is not a valid Win32 application. I have no clue what this means or where it came from. I have also notice that the clock in my toolbar is not showing up. Anyone have any thoughts on what's goin on ?? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks. By the way Im using Windows ME if that helps.

sounds like a corrupted file, do a virus scan then a scan disk, if all checks out reinstall the powreg software

If you run XP, try hitting Control + Alt + Delete > Processes. End the Process manually and see if that helps. If it works, it should start up fine the next time you reboot.

go to start->run->msconfig

now, go to the startup tab and remove this "power reg...."

i dont think it's necessary for windows to load up.

my guess is you installed the program and it put itself on startup. then u installed it, but the entry in the startup list didnt erase.

right click on the taskbar and go to properties.

now put a check by "show the system clock"

Heh, I'm glad someone else got to this before I could. I've been playing with Geoshell so much lately that my first answer for everything is "open up the registry and. . . . "
