lots of problems
hey,
I'm having some problems with my comp, it all starts up fine, but about 5-10 min in a dialog box pops up saying that svchost.exe has generated errors and that it has to be closed. After this i cannot copy, past or even drag anything in windows. I also can't click on alot of links, like those sombody would put in the forum. Im going to format soon, but if anybody could give me a hand i would be very appriciative. Im running windows 2000 if anymore info is needed just let me know and i'll post it Thanks |

Looks like svchost.exe is a program that starts with Windows 2000. It checks for services that need to be loaded with Windows, and executes them all simultaneously. I guess if it loads a bunch of services at once, and if one of those services is fucked up some how, then it would give that error. Format time! I'd format, anyway. If you need help formatting I'm sure the users at TFP can tell ya how.

I'd get that patch and if that doesn't fix it, consider formatting. -Lasereth
