Wierd Problem
Excuse if this cuts off halfway, i'll keep editing til I finish (you'll figure out why i'm saying this).
Okay, here goes. Yesterday afternoon around 7pm I had a vital error on my second system, ntsystems shutoff remote something (rpc i think), and it says I have 60 seconds to save all info and it will shut down. "Okay", i'm thinking to myself, "I'll just let it shut off". So it shuts off, reboots windows, about 5minutes into opening up mirc/other programs that I had closed, it does it again, "Okay, i'll just turn the comp off and check the ram". I turn the computer all the way off, take out the ram, put the 512 stick on my desk, and go about putting a 256 stick in. Turn it on, same error. "Okay... either it's a virus or somethings majorly messed", I turn off the comp, keep the 256 stick in there, and reboot windows and reformat the drive. *IMPORTANT* While it was formatting/reinstalling, I put my 512 stick in my main computer, and guess what! Now my main cpu has the same fucking error. "Okay, this is seriously fucked up". I take out my 512 stick, put in a 128 stick and reboot... same error again... Okay this is where it really gets me. The system had formatted, reinstalled, and The 256 stick was in there... and it still had the same error. So I reset the bios, reinstalled windows again, and here I am. I'm really hoping this is a problem someone else might've had... because frankly, i'm stumped. Comp Specs - (2nd) Shuttle ak32a xp-1700+ 512mb 2100 kingston 300wt PSU (not good quality) Geforce-FX 5600u 40gb 7200rpm Western Digital 14.4gb 7200rpm Western Digital Comp specs - (main) Abit NF7 xp 2500+ barton 512 3200 Crucial 350wt Antec True Power Geforce-FX 5800u Raid(0) 80gb Western Digital 8mb cache x2 Thanks for your input ahead of time. -Evan |

It's a Windows Security Flaw. You can get the patch from the windows site... (*you can even read about it on CNN...*)
