Question about playing DVD's
I'm using a Pioneer DVD drive and the newest version of PowerDVD and I get "No disc in drive D" sometimes. I notice that it is with certain DVD discs, however I just got the message with 12 Monkeys and I think it's totally unacceptable for a player or software to not be able to read a movie like this.
Any ideas? -T

Some DVD's have protections on them so they are unreadable in Computer dvd drives. Its just the industries way of trying to stop the copying and pirating of their movies.
Read the package, it should say on there if it is not readible. If it doesn't, I think you can return it to the store and complain. But make sure you try it on someone elses DVD drive, just to make sure.
