XP Pro and no sound....
I had a game lock up on me. Shutdown and reboot - now I have no sound at all.
All device manages tell me everything is fine. All sound is on. Could FAT 32 be affecting this? Keep it simple, I'm stupid. Machine 640MB memory P4 @ 1.2mHz Sound blaster card basic whatever came with the IBM NetVista Thanks in advance. |
maybe try deleting the sound drivers from your hardware setup, then rebooting. windows should re-find the hardware and reinstall it... might get it going again

visit the manufacturer's site and see if they have a newer version. |
p4 1.2...that doesn't exist unless you are underclocking.
My suggestion...do the obvious make sure it's not mute, and the speakers work. |
Yes, all sound is on, nothing is muted, all volumes are at or above mid point, and all cable connections are tight.

Try a System Restore to before when you played the game. It should set everything back to how it was at the last Restore point.
|
turn your speakers back on
