No program suggestions but...
Can you get the original source (a WAV file or CD?) If so.. use that and convert it to MP3 directly.. converting from WMA to MP3 degrades the quality twice... which will give you a semi-shitty sounding MP3. Converting from original WAV to MP3 only degrades the quality once.. and sounds a lot better. |

MusicmatchJukebox can convert WAV files to MP3. It also rips CD's, burns, and you can use it to listen to all your music. Plus it organizes everything perfectly. I guess I'm trying to say I love the program.

And I once used musicmatch (version5/6, paid for lifetime upgrade), but the program is bloated compared to WA. And both winamp and musicmatch are bloated eyecandy compared to Foobar2000 (the only audio player I use now). My biggest personal complaint about musicmatch is the lack of support of support for the formats I use: Ape, Flac, MPC, Ogg-Vorbis, and just starting to play with AAC. edit: finally found this thread Last edited by Speed_Gibson; 08-01-2003 at 02:14 AM.. |
