Password Protection for specific areas within XP?

I've got XP Home and I'm trying to figure out a solution to put passwords on certain folders within my already passworded account.

Compressed Zip Folders can't really do it for me..

I want to password "My Documents" within my user's profile so that it can not even be opened unless a password is entered.

Is there an application that can do this for me? I really want to have that extra security that someone would have to figure out yet another password to get into my documents.

Thanks.

Got it on Google.

Just remove the tick from the Use simple File sharing, from Folder options. Then windows goes back to using the windows 2000 file sharing, and you can control who has access to your folders. But they will need to know either a local account user name and password or have you create an account for them on your computer.

I could be wrong, but I believe that only works under Win XP Pro. Home is the dumbed down version of Pro, so I think it only allows for simple file sharing.

Xp isn't as good as 2k-Pro, for security.

Hide your porn using a compression program like WinZip that allows password protection.

Kind of a hassle don't you think, zipping and unzipping it everytime you want to view your files.

you should definetely look into third party as mentioned before.

XP Home is not as good as 2k pro, correct. XP Pro is just as good (or better) than 2k, as it has all of the features of 2k and then some enhancements.

Anyways, I'm mostly unfamiliar with XP Home, but I'll try to give my advice:

Disable Simple File Sharing (someone above posted instructions on how to do so). Go to the folder you want (if it's My Documents, it should be C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents and access the folder properties for that. Go to the security tab and make sure that only your user (and SYSTEM) have access. That should stop everyone else from being able to look at your porn/etc.
