Power Supply Problem
Asus A7N8X Deluxe mobo, Athlon XP 2400+, Antec 430 Watt True Power....
The temperature / voltage monitoring program that came with my motherboard just now started notifying me that the +3.3 Volt line is falling below 10% of normal..... it keeps happening about every 30 seconds. The power supply is only a couple of weeks old, and 430 Watts is more than plenty for the hardware I'm running. Does anyone have any advice? Do I need to return the power supply? Or would it be alright to raise the threshold for error on the monitoring program and forget about it? |
UPDATE
I rebooted, and its back to normal. This happened to anybody out there? |
Could have been asus probe, I assume thats what your using. Its not always as accurate as it seems. I had some issues with it with the cpu temp, I got way different numbers with motherboard monitor or whatever its called, dont quite remember.

I've seen this problem with several Asus boards. I usually turn off the monitor in the bios and use something like Sisoft Sandra when I want to check it.

This happened to my mate too, stuffed as to why
