hey guys, im not sure how to do this, or if you even can, but if you know, please help me out. i am curious if there is a way to take pictures (using Print Screen, or anything else by that matter) of a .avi i have. thanks for the help

Use a software dvd player such as windvd, powerdvd. These will play back avi's and allow you to take screen captures.

well, pause the avi and try taking a screen shot.

Not every player will alow that (I know Windows media player doesn't...). Personally I use PowerDVD for the few times I try to do something like that.
