I want to make an internet porn site. I've made a couple commercial web sites, but nothing like this. Anybody out there doing this? I'm looking for all the details, from what camera to buy to servers to service providers.

All suggestions welcome.

Any half decient Digi cam would work, you will want to get a few filters to make things look smoother, and all around less Amature. Also you will want a cam that can do extreme closeups without any blurring, a very key feature for most porn

At the price your limited to you wont be able to spend much on the cam itself because you will want to put a lot of time effort and cash into your Sets and backgrounds, it seems stupid but from doing Event videos (never tackled a porn) I know that a good set and good lighting can make the pic / video 100x better.

My only suggestion is: Find a hook. People like the BangBros (however endlessly annoying they tend to be...) started with a hook, and even though it's probably fake, and sure, they don't always have the best of anything, it's an interesting and different idea. That's what you need before you get started. Most people won't pay for run-of-the-mill porn anymore.

Oh yeah, this is the tech forum. Make your password system as secure as possible, because you'll be working against people that, if you leave any sort of hole open, will break through.

ya you want something original like Milfhunter or bangbus, but not those same topics, because they have now been copied to shit, maybe something where the woman is given dinner + a movie at least

Are you planning on hosting yourself, or outsourcing? I'm probably not delivering news when I say that a successful site can be quite bandwidth strenuous. Definitely look into a dedicated host. I know that hostreflex.com has only the basic restrictions on adult content (no kiddie porn, no beastiality, no copyright infringment), and I believe their dedicated packages are about $100/month on up. Don't take that as an endorsement though. Shop around, find the best dedicated host you can find. Offering videos, you'll need to have a great deal of monthly bandwidth. My best advice is to compare at least a dozen hosts. It's easy to get screwed in the hosting area.
