Slot 1 adaptors
Anyone have any experience with those Socket 370's to Slot 1 Adaptors?
Do they really work? |
Yeah, I had an ASUS "Slotket" that worked fine. Had a Celeron 433 in it, installed on a slot one mobo. Zero grief.

Yeah some require a jumper setting on them but thats simple, only thing to worry about is the size of the fan on the CPU, sometimes the mobos ram gets in the way of it and causes problems

Thanks for the tip on the fan. I have a dual Slot 1 MB and I want to use it. But I have two socket 370 cpu's. It should have clearance

It will work fine, my friend had to use one for his Celery.
