backwards converting an ICQ database?
Hey guys, I figured if anywhere this would be the place to ask this one.
I keep constant backsup of my ICQ database, usually every week. the thing is, when icq made the move to keeping everything on their servers that made my life a little harder. there is no way to revert to a previous database now. i have really come to dislike the current ICQ client, and wish there was a way to backwards convert the database so I can use it with icq2000a or something similar, and less annoying. I've looked long and hard, and asked just about everyone i know (who's into computers), but have yet to find any luck. do you guys have any ideas on this one? I know i could just readd all the contacts after installing icq2000, but then i'd also lose all the history entries. here's hoping for the best i suppose. anyone able to help me out here? (btw, please no "use trillian, or gaim. it's roxxors your boxxors". i know, i know, but i'm looking to solve this problem first ) |
