What is a good cheap webcam?

Um, I think logitech, Intel and x10 all make cheap ones. around $5-20

I have a Creative Labs webcam. It was around $40-50 and only CompUSA carries them. Best Buy doesn't, unfortunately.

If you pay a little extra money, you will get a better picture.

A $5 cam is not gonna look so great, but maybe you can find a good used one online. Good luck!

www.tigerdirect.com... USB flex cable as the search, and theres one for 14$... look at the web cam page for an example... not the greatest, but you could probably tweak around with it for a better pic...

I got a Veo Stingray a few days ago from Wal Mart for about $20 + tax, and its not the best but it gets the job done well enough.

Not to thread crap, but Tiger Direct has a horrible customer rating at Reseller Rating and I've heard some terrible stories from Fatwallet and Anandtech Forums. I'd suggest find a used intel camera, my gfs has a pretty decent pic.

out of the 5 cam i have had 2 of them were intel and they were by far the best picture

I have a creative that I paid about 40 for. Well worth it. Great picture

Just remember that you get what you pay for.
