The Old Kernel32.DLL problem
I keep getting a popup warning saying your system has cause an error in kernel32.dll windows will now close this program, if you continue to experience problems try restarting.
Well roughly that. It happens all the time and won't go away. Now I tried to put Lord of the Rings (videogame) on my computer and everytime I try to open the icon to play I get this wonderful kernel32.dll warning. Please someone have an answer for me. It would be one less stressor in my life and I'd be forever in your debt.

i've seen a few virus's that will cause a kernel32.dll error. GOto Symantec web site and do a on-line scan just to make sure. all so if you computers ever crashed and rebooted when you doing something really stressfull on the cpu it could of crupted your kernel, that usaly only happens if you using the FAT32 file systerm, with NTFS it usaly doesn't crupt file as bad.

So I did the Symantec test and all was well.
Then I reinstalled Windows ME and... The problem still exists. Where are you computer geeks with the answer?

When you say you reinstalled do you mean you "formatted" your harddrive and wiped it clean? Just let me know that and I'm sure many more of us could help...also if you can afford it. Go to Windows XP and give yourself a lot more stability.
