Amazon EC2 Hosting
Does anyone have any working experience with Amazon EC2 hosting? I am looking for impartial reviews of their service because it can be cheaper than what my company uses now; I just wonder about its reliability and stability.

I have used it on the job, but don't have what I would call a LOT of experience with it. IMO, it's pretty damn good, I've never seen it go down or have an instance die. Haven't heard any complaints, but I've never used it in a production environment that needed 99.99% uptime either, mostly on a build/test system. Probably will go down less than your own hardware anyway. I can say it was used for a production web app for at least a few months at my last company, but I wasn't part of that team and didn't hear any feedback.
