Arduino Programming, Nixie Clock Help
So, first... does anyone have experience programming on the Arduino platform. I know it's roughly just a packaged version of C, but I'm trying to emulate some very specific functions... namely those listed here:
http://www.sphere.bc.ca/test/moses-c...-info-v1.0.pdf Obviously, I'm planning to make a Nixie clock. I'd like to post updates here (or somewhere on TFP) as I work on it. As of now I've ordered the Arduino Nano, a breadboard and some flexwires to do some testing work with. Eventually I plan to order a custom PCB (probably through Pad2Pad, unless someone tells me otherwise). Also, do any of you have experience working with Nixie tubes? I was thinking of going with some jumbo tubes, despite the $$$ just because of the larger digit size. I'm pretty much working from nothing to make something... and for an electronics project, this is completely new territory for me. Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
