Copying pictures from a camera directly to web-based email

Hi all

I swear I am asking this for a friend. Really. Seriously.

So, a friend has taken some self pics that she wants to send to her husband, but she is not home and can only do it on a borrowed laptop. She wants to know if she can attach pics directly from her camera, and whether any remnant of those pics would be left on the computer (other than the temporary internet files).

Anybody know? Maybe this should be cross-posted to Exhibition?

Easily. Just browse to the camera when you're attaching the pics to the email and choose the pics you want to send. Then send the email and unplug the camera. There will be no remnant on the laptop unless you copy the pics off of it onto the laptop manually.

Yep! It works. I've done this many times.
