Windows Small business server

So I setup a application server. Thats all it is for. And I originally had a copy of Windows Server 08. It came from Microsoft. A free 120 days copy. And I had it all setup and working. So I picked up a oem copy of windows SBS STD 08 to use one the 120 days run out.

So when it ran out I installed the SBS STD 08. To learn that the software I paid 800$ for will only let 2 user to login at a time. Even if I buy 10 TS Cals it will still only let 2 login at a time. That will not work with what I want to do. I need at least 5 at a time.

Is there anyway to get around this? Os is it possible to upgrade it to a version that will let me do this. I really don't want to drop a bunch more $$ on software. Or some kind of third-party software that will do the same thing.

The only option I can think of is picking up Windows Server 08 STD and just throwing the SBS08 away.

By default only 2 users can log in on WindowsServer using RemoteDesktop. If that is the limitation you are experiancing then you need TerminalServer (license). Windows2000 terminalserver has diffrent licensemodel than the latest versions that often have less impact on the budget.

Just terminal service remoteapp.

Terminal Services RemoteApp (TS RemoteApp)

Both use Terminal Services.

There is a backdoor (illegal) way to configure TS licensing that will get Server 2003 to accept unlimited connections to TS. I don't know if it works on SBS or 2008.
