Mozilla Firebird questions - Tilted Forum Project Discussion Community

Big fan of Firebird, but I still got a few things that are keep'n me from replacing IE for good. Any tips on changing these things?

ieSpell really has me addicted to it. The only mozilla spellcheck Ive seen was for the mail programs
change middle click to open in new window instead of tab
open shortcuts in new windows
ability to launch executables from a link
history
URL popup from hovering over a link (I prefer the statusbar so its not a prob for me, but the ppl im trying to convert)

I believe thats a fairly exaustive list.

I don't use Firebird day to day so I cant' comment about most of these but for "change middle click to open in new window instead of tab" if you have a nice mouse check it's configuration program to see if you can program that button to do the new window command.

I will attempt to answer easy ones.

History? As in where is it?
Click go and it will show last few sites that you have been to and at the bottom it says "history"

change middle click to open in new window instead of tab.

....I seem to remeber a way to do that in the older build but I can't seem to find it now. =(
If it is any help Control+N is open new window.

open shortcuts in new windows

Open in new window, shift and left click

Might not help but I tried. I love firebird and love tabbed browseing. To each his own.

Also, make sure to check out the firebird forums because they have the answers when it comes to firebird and are willing to help.

one more pet peeve... w/ IE I could just dragNdrop images in to photoshop, now I can only drapNdrop them in to images already open.
