Wave editor
I need a wave editor to break up some old albums I recorded
Anybody got any ideas Thanks |

I'd reccommend Cool Edit from Syntrillium personally. Good stuff, plus Multitrack editing.
|
I'm with Snakeyes: I've used Cool Edit for years, and really love it. There are tons of really good and useful features, and even some pro-studio features. In fact, for quite a while, one of the writers for Stereophile would print frequency analysys charts from Cool Edit.

ProTools also works, though it's higher end. www.digidesign.com They have a free demo, I believe.
|
Sound forge for the longest...then again Blizzard Entertainment uses it also.
