DTV tuner for iPod touch/iPhone
Does anybody know if they make one of these yet?
This might work if I carry my computer around. But I would like one that could fit on the back of my iPod and have it's own battery. Miglia Tech. Video Editing, TVMini Digital TV for Mac TVM04 - $99 @Videotapestock.com |

Yeah, one of the major drawbacks to the DTV switch is pretty much the end of portable TV devices. Do you like taking your handheld TV to the ballpark to watch the replays and get closeups... too bad. Ditto for a battery powered or DC powered small TV in the camper/SUV/car on the road. At least for now, I don't know of any company producing small digital ready sets or decoders small enough and energy efficient enough to used this way. Let alone a device to work with your Ipod/Zune/Sansa etc.

I just read on-line that China wants to start inventing new products. Well, here is one that would get people interested. It doesn't have to be 'small', but I think it can be done if you throw enough engineers, money, and tech at it.
